Joe Diurno, P.E.


Joe is a co-founder and the majority shareholder of PRI.  He is responsible for leading the organization and managing the day-to-day business activities of PRI.  External experience includes over 35 years of expertise in automation, instrumentation, controls, project management, project development and engineering.  Joe’s formal education includes an MBA from New York Institute of Technologies and a degree in Engineering from SUNY Maritime College.  Additional accomplishments include a Professional Engineer (P.E.) License in the State of New York and a United States Coast Guard 3rd Assistant Engineer license.

Michael Dombrowski

Vice President, Sales and Marketing

A minority partner in PRI, Mike is the Vice President of Sales and Marketing, with over 25 years of industry experience marketing and selling in automation, instrumentation and control parts and software.  Mike is responsible for outside sales, sales programs, marketing initiatives, project proposals and project management.  External experience includes a variety of sales and marketing positions for over 30 years.

Gerry Wynkoop

Vice President, Engineering

A minority partner in PRI, Gerry is PRI’s Vice President of Engineering.  He has over 30 years of experience in the design and manufacture of industrial, motor, power and lighting equipment and systems.  Gerry is responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the Controls Engineering, Drafting, Integration, and Manufacturing departments to produce custom industrial control and drive systems.  Gerry has studied Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Programming, and Cybersecurity while attending Temple University, Hofstra University and the University of Kansas.  He is an active member of the ISA and NFPA.  Additional accomplishments include 6 months of rescue and recovery work at the WTC ground zero site and eight years of active service in the United States Marine Corps (USMC).

Ellen Morelli

Administrator, Finances

Ellen is the Head of the Administration and Finance department. She has 15 years of experience and is responsible for all of PRI’s financials which include accounts payable/receivable, firm payroll, corporate taxes, auditing PRI’s books and preparing financial statements. She is relied upon to improve business efficiency and make best-practices recommendations to management regarding ways to reduce costs, enhance revenues, and improve profits.  Ellen is also responsible for maintaining D/MBE certifications.  Ellen received her accounting certification from Farmingdale State College.

Eric Camilleri

Director, Quality Assurance

Eric is PRI’s Director of Quality Assurance, with over 30 years’ experience in quality, manufacturing, employee development, process development, document control, supplier management and customer support.  Eric is responsible for PRI’s Quality Assurance Program and Quality Management System.  His responsibilities include ensuring PRI’s continued compliance to ISO 9001-2015, developing Quality Plans/Procedures, product quality, inspection and test, document control, quality reviews and audits, and overseeing PRI’s in-house Safety Program.  Eric studied Electrical Engineering Technology at SUNY Farmingdale and has been with PRI for 10 years.

Karen Gaffney

Director, Human Resources

Karen has joined PRI as the Director of Human Resources. She has over 25 years of experience in recruitment and selection, talent and performance management, compensation and benefits, and employee relations. Some of her new initiatives include providing advice and guidance to management, administering the Employee Handbook, and helping implement new policies and procedures such as Time and Attendance as well as Vacation policies. Prior to coming to PRI, Karen worked in finance for Bear Stearns and Citibank. She studied Business Administration at SUNY Buffalo.
