NYCT

Babylon Yard Substation

LIRR

PRI designed and built a motor generator (MG) replacement for the LIRR Babylon Yard. PRI designed, built, installed, and tested four cabinets – MG control and MG breaker cabinets, MG PLC and HT PLC, and supplied a motor generator.

Amtrak SCADA

PRI designed and built three DIOP cabinets for the current Penn Station Jacobs SCADA system. These cabinets are used for Jacobs SCADA system integration utilizing PLC and power distribution cabinets for Penn Station. The three cabinets and one main PLC cabinet were integrated into an existing SCADA system in Penn Station and used to create added Fiber Optic connections for enhanced communication.

Amtrak

Meadowbrook Substation Replacement

PRI designed a supervisory control and data acquisition (SCADA) system with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) cabinets for the LIRR’s Traction Power Systems. In addition, PRI manufactured/assembled, delivered, tested, and provided required warranty for the new system.

LIRR

QBL West

PRI installed a new fiber optic data ring to send data from applications to the head-end servers on the existing backbone network. PRI was also the system integrator for a Card Access Control system, which was installed with network connectivity, alarm collection, and the ability to transmit alarms to a remote location for monitoring of the Access Control system.

NYCT

Mid-Day Storage Yard

This portion of the East Side Access project constructed a storage yard facility for commuter railcars. PRI removed old railroad structures and buildings, and furnished, tested, and installed eight new central instrument locations (CIL) within Sunnyside Yard in Queens.

MTA

East Side Access Project

The Long Island Rail Road provided riders with 40 miles of new tracks, a new terminal beneath Grand Central, and the modernization of the busiest intersection of passenger train lines in North America. PRI fabricated, tested, delivered, and onsite commissioned two motor generator (MG) signal power systems to produce 2400V for the signal power systems in the East Side Access tunnel system. PRI also fabricated and supplied four electronically operated (EO) remote panels and four 30A 600V non-fused disconnect switches.

LIRR

Northport VAMC Radio Comm Network Expansion

PRI fabricated and installed Radio Communication Network Cabinets for eight different locations at the Northport VA Medical Center. Personnel can now review information from all locations in one centralized hub instead of having to drive around the campus to access the data.

Northport VAMC

SCADA System for the Long Beach Branch

PRI upgraded the Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system for the Long Beach branch of the Long Island Rail Road. The refreshed system consists of two sub-systems: the Central Traffic Control (CTC) and the LAN.
