PRI Awards Scholarships to Local Students

PRI is extremely proud to award two students from Walter G. O’Connell Copiague High School with scholarships in recognition of their hard work in and out of the classroom.

From the feature in Patch:

“Jocelyne Carranza Orellana participates in the STEP Club, Mindfulness Club, Yoga Club and Science National Honor Society. She also took part in Farmingdale State College’s Saturday STEP program while balancing her academics with a part-time job. She plans to study mechanical engineering and hopes to encourage more women to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering and mathematics.

Anne DeOleo Mayorga is involved in the National Honor Society, Robotics Team, Rotary Youth Leadership, Chess Club, Global Ambassadors, Student Ambassadors, Marching Band and the girls tennis team. She plans to study electrical engineering with a concentration in renewable energy.”

PRI is honored to create opportunities for our community to thrive. We look forward to continuing to invest in the future of engineering.

Congratulations, Jocelyne and Anne!
